Association Hosting

In addition to providing stable hosting for all genre of websites, AKM Development has recognized many Associations require a unique server configuration for integration into their Customer Management Systems (CMS). Our primary focus is maintaining an environment already configured for hosting the iMIS suite of tools developed by Advanced Solutions International (ASI): iMIS e-Series, iMIS Business Objects, and iMIS e-Content Manager. Associations can be assured that integrating their website with iMIS will be a smooth process.

Kim Engle, President and CEO

Kim has over 13 years functional & technical experience in the area of Association and Events Management as well as Association Systems and Operations. Starting out at the operations level, she worked for a healthcare marketing association as the Director of Marketing Services implementing & managing membership campaigns, exhibit marketing and operations management. She began her professional experience managing trade shows held in major cities across the US. She spent 5 years as a senior programmer/analyst for the nation's largest Association Management Company, where she implemented, managed and maintained the association membership system, iMIS, developed by Advanced Solutions International (ASI). She has developed custom database applications, plus many custom web-based applications interfacing with the iMIS Membership System.

Kim is also a Senior Technical Consultant with Business Systems Consultants, Inc. (BSCI), a provider of consulting, development, and technical support to numerous associations in the Midwest Region. Kim is an ASI Certified iBO Developer and specializes in web development applications using ColdFusion, ASP, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
